Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using StockVault.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StockVault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
By creating an account or using StockVault, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using StockVault on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Use of Service
You may use StockVault only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the service in any way that could damage or impair the service.
Permitted Uses
You may use StockVault to create, manage, and share inventories for personal, business, or professional purposes. You may upload photos and documents related to your inventory items.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to: (a) use the service for any illegal purpose; (b) upload malicious code or viruses; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (d) impersonate others; (e) scrape or copy content using automated means; (f) use the service to spam or harass others.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload to StockVault. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
Content Guidelines
You must ensure that all content you upload complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of others. You must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, or violates intellectual property rights.
Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws. We may also remove content if required by law or to protect the rights of others.
Subscription Plans
StockVault offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
Payment
By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.
Refunds
Refunds are provided at our discretion. If you cancel a paid subscription, you will continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. We may, at our discretion, delete your account data after termination. We recommend exporting your data before closing your account.
Disclaimer of Warranties
StockVault is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockVault and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StockVault from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of StockVault after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
